Taylor Rapp is content to be a member of the Buffalo Bills, and in the coming months, he may become even more of a team member.
When considering the player himself, Rapp had nothing but nice things to say about his debut season in 2023 as a Bill. Prior to the previous season, he signed as a free agent and subsequently signed an extension.
He supplied the words if you required them in addition to the acts.
It’s most likely the finest thing that has ever happened to Rapp’s career, he added.
Sean McDermott, the head coach of Buffalo, gave some future-focused clues.
A starter place is available due to the loss of Jordan Poyer, who was released this offseason. Micah Hyde is also expected to retire. That’s an additional first-team spot.
During spring practices, McDermott saw that Rapp was beginning to fill the leadership void left by Poyer and Hyde.
According to McDermott, “[Rapp’s growth] really stood out last week in particular.” This year, Taylor was given a new role. Although roles aren’t really defined until someone joins the team, Taylor has so far stepped into that role and, in my opinion, asserted himself somewhat as a leader and a communicator—two qualities that are crucial in that backend.
Rapp is a name to keep an eye out for at training camp.
