This offseason, the Buffalo Bills roster saw a few significant changes. After fielding a team that was still unable to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs the previous season, the Bills were confronted with salary cap issues. Recently, the Bills were listed as one of the greatest losers in the NFL due to their offseason decisions.
The offence was severely compromised for the Buffalo Bills.
In order to get out of the red before the start of the new league year, the Bills had a fire sale before to free agency. In an attempt to make the squad less self-centered, the Bills then made a significant move when they traded standout receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, as was previously mentioned on GH:
Analysts’ expectations for the Bills in the next season have decreased as a result of the loss of star power. The Athletic’s Mike Jones believes that the Bills were among the losers in the NFL this offseason:
Is the Bills’ window for the Super Bowl closing? Given that this team strives to retool constantly, it is feasible. Due to the Stefon Diggs trade and Gabe Davis’s free agency departure, quarterback Josh Allen is now without his top two wide outs. Impact players Tre’Davious White, Mitch Morse, and Jordan Poyer were also lost by the Bills during this time.
Keon Coleman, a wide receiver with a lot of potential, was selected, but for a club attempting to stave off the Dolphins in the AFC East and close the gap on the Chiefs and Bengals in the league, the Bills appear headed in the wrong direction.
It’s hard to count the Bills out with Josh Allen. But he’ll have to be nearly perfect for them to have a chance at winning the AFC East this season. This season feels more like a rebuild than a reload.
