Buffalo Bills starting right tackle Spencer Brown is expected to fully participate in the team’s upcoming 2024 training camp at St. John Fisher University in Rochester. Despite undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, he assured that he will be ready to go from the start of camp. Brown had a strong season in 2023, playing all 17 games and proving his doubters wrong among the Bills fans.
Brown suffered a torn labrum during the Bills’ AFC Divisional Round defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, managing to finish the game before his shoulder dislocated again on his way home. He didn’t fully participate in the team’s June mandatory minicamp, focusing on individual drills while continuing his rehabilitation. His full availability at the start of the season indicates that his recovery is progressing as expected, if not fully complete. This early return also gives more time for the revamped offensive line to come together, especially since Buffalo will have new starters at center and left guard in 2024. Despite the initial training camp practices not involving pads, it still provides a good opportunity for line play practice.
