As the Indiana Fever announced on social media that they would be making the WNBA playoffs after winning the lottery on Tuesday, a post featuring the players’ preseason goals caught people’s attention. Not surprisingly, Caitlin Clark’s goal—which she stated she just wanted to be smiling at the end of the season—went viral. Many of her teammates had expressed their desire to go to the playoffs.
