This past week, the Chicago Sky organisation was hit by a wave of COVID-19 cases, beginning with star guard Chennedy Carter’s diagnosis.
Carter was declared out of the Sky practice scheduled for Wednesday night against the Washington Mystics, and the session was abruptly postponed on Tuesday. A number of athletes reported feeling sick, and a few chose to wear masks as a safety precaution when near team facilities.

In the inaugural installment of her recently launched podcast, Unapologetically Angel, Angel Reese revealed a startling revelation regarding the WNBA’s present COVID-19 regulations.
“Of course, you can test on your own if you feel ill. However, Reese stated, “the WNBA and the CDC have agreed that you can play even if you have COVID.”
Regarding the league’s health and safety procedures, several fans are worried.
“The CDC saying WNBA players can play with COVID is nutssss,” one fan said.Can players on the WNBA continue to use COVID? “Ain’t no way boy (also, I’m really loving this podcast”),” someone else remarked.On Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET, Reese and the Sky will play the Los Angeles Sparks.
