One of the most accomplished recruits from Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class is set to finish his college football career in the Mountain West.
On Thursday, former Alabama wide receiver Jojo Earle announced his transfer to UNLV, as initially reported by 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.
Earle began his college journey in 2021 with the Alabama Crimson Tide and spent two years in Tuscaloosa. During his time there, he played as a wide receiver and contributed on special teams, recording 24 catches for 303 yards and two touchdowns. After his sophomore year, he entered the transfer portal and chose to join TCU.
In his two seasons with the Horned Frogs, Earle accumulated 23 receptions for 276 yards and three touchdowns, playing similar roles at both Alabama and TCU. Now at UNLV, Earle aims to finish his college career strongly with a team that ended the 2024 season with an 11-3 record. He will be playing under the guidance of offensive strategist Dan Mullen, which should be beneficial for Earle as he brings his speed and athleticism to Mullen’s offense in 2025.
