As the transfer portal period comes to a close, another Nebraska player is making a move.
Wide receiver Isaiah Neyor is entering the portal as a graduate transfer, with one season of eligibility left. He had previously chosen to sit out Nebraska’s bowl game against Boston College to focus on preparing for the NFL draft. In a now-deleted post on social media, Neyor expressed that “football has been more than just a game” for him.
He stated, “It’s been a source of growth, discipline, and purpose. Throughout my journey, I’ve encountered challenges, but those experiences have taught me about perseverance and maintaining faith, recognizing that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.” After starting his career at Wyoming and transferring to Nebraska via Texas, Neyor had a successful season with the Huskers, recording 34 receptions for 455 yards and five touchdowns, leading the team in touchdown receptions and finishing second in receiving yards.
