Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson will be making his debut at the NFL Pro Bowl. The second-year player, who had a standout career at the University of Texas from 2020 to 2022, has been chosen as a replacement for Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.
This season, Robinson accumulated 1,456 rushing yards, placing him third in the NFL, and scored 14 rushing touchdowns. He led the league with 117 missed tackles forced and was third with 728 yards gained after contact. Additionally, he recorded 61 receptions for 431 yards and one touchdown.
Originally drafted in the first round by the Falcons in 2023, Robinson left the Longhorns after his junior year, where he rushed for 1,580 yards, 18 touchdowns, and averaged 6.1 yards per carry. By the end of the season, he became one of only three players in NFL history to achieve over 50 scrimmage yards in 32 games during their first two seasons, joining Hall of Famers Edgerrin James and LaDainian Tomlinson.
Robinson is among three Atlanta Falcons selected for this year’s Pro Bowl, where he will represent the NFC team during the game scheduled for 2 p.m. central time in Orlando, Florida.
