Before their upcoming league match, Niger Tornadoes head coach Hamza Abarah has urged his team to have optimism.
This weekend, the Ikon Allah Boys and Doma United will trade tackles at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
Doma United has won each of its last six league encounters.
Although Abarah acknowledged that the Savannah Tigers are a formidable opponent, he maintained his team’s capacity to win the game.
“Doma United, who are playing at their best right now—you can see their place on the log—will be our next opponent. He told Tornadoes media, “They are a very tough team to beat, but not impossible.”
Niger Tornadoes defeated Akwa United 1-0 on Sunday to snap a five-game losing streak.
With 11 points, the Minna-based team is ranked 17th in the NPFL standings.
