Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that he will not consider moving Trent Alexander-Arnold to a midfield position and will continue to use him in the role that best suits the team. Despite Alexander-Arnold’s recent success in a hybrid role, which has seen him play as a holding midfielder in the Carabao Cup, there has been debate about whether his creative abilities could be better utilised in central midfield. However, Klopp has no intention of changing Alexander-Arnold’s position and believes that he should be influential from all areas of the pitch. Klopp also expressed his faith in goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who is set to start back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time.
