On Saturday, December 9th, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will host the final match of the In-Season Tournament. The NBA has revealed the new trophy for the tournament champions, called “The NBA Cup,” which was designed by Tiffany & Co. in collaboration with artist Victor Solomon. The trophy is gold-colored and made of sterling silver, coated in 24-karat gold vermeil and black ceramic, and stands at 23 inches tall. It features eight prongs inspired by a diamond ring and a base that blends Eastern and Western Conference Championship Trophy designs.
The In-Season Tournament MVP Trophy, also designed by Tiffany & Co. and Victor Solomon, mirrors the championship prong design and is 15 inches tall, representing the teams in each NBA conference. The winning team will receive a $500,000 bonus and a medal designed by Victor Solomon, while standout players will receive the NBA In-Season Tournament All-Tournament Team Trophies, standing at 7.5 inches in height.
