Jon Rahm, the Masters champion, has joined LIV Golf, becoming one of the highest-paid golfers in the sport. The Spanish golfer has reportedly landed a $566.4 million pay package to join the likes of Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka in abandoning the PGA for the Saudi riches. However, Rahm has denied that money is his motivation behind the decision, stating that he plays golf for the love of the game and the desire to grow it in a global market. He also mentioned that being part of a team and a captain is important to him. Rahm insisted that he made the decision thinking of himself and his family.
