Jurgen Klopp has revealed that there was a “pretty loud reception” for Mohamed Salah in the Liverpool dressing room following his 200th goal for the club. Despite going two games without scoring, Salah hit his landmark goal to make it 1-1 against Crystal Palace on Saturday. He becomes only the fifth player in Liverpool’s history to score 200 or more goals, joining Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell on the list. Klopp presented Salah with a special ‘Salah 200’ shirt in the dressing room and praised the Egyptian’s contribution to the team. Salah now ranks joint-10th among the all-time Premier League scorers on 150.
