Only two out of 521 players who started at pre-qualifying advanced to the Final Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, making up less than four-tenths of a percent (.38%). These two players, Caleb Hicks and Wes Homan, are hoping to earn PGA TOUR cards as top-five finishers (and ties) at Q-School’s Final Stage. The event consists of 165 players competing across 72 holes, which takes place at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club. Hicks is a first-timer, while Homan has played Q-School since 2007, and his experience has given him a different perspective on the event. The top five and ties will earn PGA TOUR cards, while the next 40 finishers and ties will earn guaranteed Korn Ferry Tour starts and the next 20 and ties will earn guaranteed PGA TOUR Americas starts. Homan, who has made 11 career TOUR starts, is hoping to earn his first PGA TOUR card after advancing through pre-qualifying, First Stage, and Second Stage.
