Due to conduct detrimental to the team, the Indianapolis Colts have suspended receiver-punt returner Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown for the remaining three regular-season games. The team has not disclosed any details regarding the incident. Both players were inactive for the recent game against Pittsburgh and had a significant impact on special teams this season. In a corresponding move, running back Tyler Goodson has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Goodson had his first carries this season in the victory against Pittsburgh, finishing with 11 rushes for 69 yards. With Jonathan Taylor out for the past three games due to thumb surgery and his replacement, Zack Moss, suffering an arm injury, the Colts may need additional ball-carriers for their upcoming game against Atlanta. Coach Shane Steichen has not confirmed whether Taylor or Moss will play.
