Roberto Firmino is rumored to be leaving Al-Ahli and the Saudi Pro League after just six months, with a potential return to Europe in the works. Despite being one of the high-profile players to join Saudi Arabia over the summer, the lucrative contracts are not living up to the standard of football, with low attendance figures and lack of attention from outside the Middle East. Firmino had a strong start, scoring a hat-trick on his debut and captaining the side in his first 10 league games, but has since experienced a 17-game goal drought and has not started in the Saudi Pro League since October. Reports suggest that Firmino may seek a return to Europe or Brazil.
