Against Chicago, Love had a remarkable game, completing 27 out of 32 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns. He achieved new personal bests in both passer rating (128.6) and completion percentage (84.4%). Love also made history as the first Green Bay QB to throw for over 300 yards and multiple TDs with no interceptions, while completing 25 or more passes with a completion percentage of 84 or higher. His completion percentage of 84.4% was the second-best in team history among QBs with over 30 attempts in a game, just behind Lynn Dickey’s performance at Houston on September 4, 1983 (27 of 31, 87.1%). Love’s achievement puts him in a select group of NFL quarterbacks, including Tom Brady, who have completed 30 or more passes with a completion percentage of 84 or higher against the Bears. Josh Allen of Buffalo and Jared Goff of Detroit are also among the nominees for this accolade.
