Jones’ availability at near full strength on a weekly basis has elevated the production level of Jordan Love and the team as a whole, leading them to the playoffs. Head Coach Matt LaFleur acknowledged Jones’ impact on the team, stating that he makes them better and opens up their playbook. While Jones credits his success to the blocking in front of him, his value to the team in the ground game, pass catching, and blitz pickup is unmatched, according to guard Jon Runyan. Jones’ season was in jeopardy due to a torn ACL, but he was able to return after only damaging his MCL. The road back was difficult, but Jones was able to make a comeback and help his team finish the regular season with a three-game winning streak. Despite missing six games this season, Jones is not slowing down and is ready to continue building off his momentum in the postseason.
