According to reports, Aston Villa are looking to sign a “world class” winger who was previously wanted by Unai Emery at Arsenal. The club has had a successful summer recruitment, with several players making significant contributions. However, they still have a thin squad and could benefit from signing a striker to complement Ollie Watkins. Emery is reportedly interested in bringing 31-year-old Wilfried Zaha back to England, but a deal may be difficult to secure this month. Despite this, Zaha’s versatility and Villa’s relationship with Galatasaray could make a mid-season move an excellent boost for the team. Fabrizio Romano has also provided an update on Villa’s chances of signing a player in January.
