The Patriots are considering a coach with roots in Foxboro, Massachusetts to lead their offense, and it’s not Josh McDaniels. Nick Caley, who previously worked on Bill Belichick’s staff from 2015 to 2022 and won two Super Bowls with the Patriots, is scheduled to interview for the vacant offensive coordinator position. Caley served as the Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach this season, but he also has experience working with fullbacks at the professional level. He previously interviewed for the same position with the New York Jets and Houston Texans last offseason. Caley’s experience with the Patriots and a season under the Sean McVay tree could make him an ideal candidate for the job.
